Surrey House Builders PSE was featured on the popular Channel Four TV programme ‘The Property Ladder’. Channel Four had been filming our work on rebuilding / remodelling 55 Princes Road in Richmond, Surrey.We estimated the contract period to be between six and eight weeks. Due to schedule changes we completed in nine weeks.

Palmer Scott built our 2 storey extension over 3 months in the spring of 2013 Everyone who worked on the job was hard working & punctual. We had a garden wall replaced by PSE in August 2012. We found all interactions with the PSE personnel to be very professional and efficient, from the first site visit to inspect the original wall which had become unsafe, their suggestion of options for the rebuilding of the wall, provision of a quote and then carrying out the work.
The work was completed with minimum disruption and we were kept informed of progress throughout the period of the work. We are very pleased with the wall construction and its looks.

We are really delighted with the fabulous work that PSE did for us.
Tony and his team stripped out our old bathroom and completely re-designed and transformed the bathroom space to give us a bright and modern new shower room.
This was the first time that we had employed someone to do some major work for us, and we were apprehensive about having our house ‘invaded’ by builders. We can honestly say that Tony and his team made a potentially stressful and messy job into an exciting experience.
We found the team at PSE to be extremely competent and pro-active during the course of the work. Tony came up with some really creative ideas when we wanted to move the shower enclosure into an awkward space in order to maximise space and light. Any unexpected complications were sorted out quickly and efficiently, and with minimal fuss.
The guys at PSE were cheery and nothing was too much trouble. Tony and the team were fast working and courteous, and the shower room was always left clean and tidy at the end of the day.
The finish is of the highest standard, and the whole project came in on budget. The end result is fantastic, and we now have the modern and bright new shower room that we wanted. All our guests comment on the high standard of the finish and workmanship.
We would like to thank Tony and his team for all their hard work. We have no hesitation in using PSE again and recommending their services to others

The PSE team renovated my (tired!) 1930’s wooden porch in 2012: Removal of rotten bases on two oak pillars; extra brickwork added to base supports (much care given to obtain matching “old style” bricks to originals – Thank you!) and porch woodwork made good. All in all – immaculate building work, repair and painting by a team I trust and will use again and again.

I did use them again! Tony Scott investigated and corrected a damp chimney flue, eventually involving re-pointing and re-leading of external chimney, and venting the internal flue. A very good job – diagnosed intelligently and undertaken swiftly – with no mess or disruption. Very happy customer

Tony & Mick worked very hard to remove a wall, relocate radiators and replace a tile floor. As the work would be dirty & dusty it was decided to do the project whilst we were away on holiday. Tony & his team ensured that the work was completed in the 2 weeks. When we checked on progress Tony was honest and clear about where the work was up to.
On our return home, the kitchen had been transformed! Tony also returned to fit Kitchen cupboards and resolve an issue we had with a light 3 months later.
The work by PSE was done to a very high standard & we would have no hesitation in recommending to people who are looking for a good, reliable builder.
